[name_f]catherine [/name_f] is a strong contender as an honor name after my mom (if we were to have a girl). Dh and i have 3 or four names that are definitely going to work for dd. The other spellings feel, well, just less so to me.
While i adore the name, it sounds too plain with my other top names (emma, emily, anna) in a combo. I am torn about the name catherine. I’ve always thought catherine would work.
Both i and him have a close family member named [name_f]catherine[/name_f] (his. I prefer the c spelling… just for how it looks i guess, i almost always prefer c spellings. For some reason, i keep. I feel it’s classic, distinguished and complete.
