Cuando se utiliza listening to? Hi, i'm confusing about these 2 sentences: Can i speak to you for a minute?
It seems that both are correct about the grammar. Es decir, cuando se puede usar sólamente listen. I like to listen to music while i cook. the implication is that it's a habit of mine (and the speaker sounds like a person who likes to make fine distinctions of speech).
Can you listen to me? Cuando se utiliza listen to? Lis·tened, lis·ten·ing, lis·tens to make an effort to hear something: I heard you created a song.
Is my usage of take a listen correct? Do you listen to me? While listen to somebody means hear and apply attention to the noise their making (speaking/walking, etc.), listen for something/somebody means be on the lookout for. Would you like to hear some music?
Can i take a listen? You could say would you listen to me for a minute? if you have started speaking and the other person doesn't seem to be. No tengo nada claro cuando utilizar cada uno. Or would you like to listen to some music?
But what is the differences between.
