Obviously what i am looking for is a standalone easy to use free program/app like microsoft money that will operate on windows 10. Eg financial times is comprehesive , trustnet.com for fund prices, msn money, google etc etc. I haven't been able to fetch prices for funds with bid/offer prices for quite a while, but i think that's a different problem.
New pc arriving with windows 11 and looking to continue using microsoft money on it. What data do you want? They have switched their msn money windows 10/11 app to a new quotes service which uses a totally different format, so it no longer uses the quote services my tools are using.
If you use ms money you will no doubt be pleased to hear that there is an updated version of msmoneyquotes available from gaiersoft which downloads fund and share prices. I have found some free alternatives online,. But msn money appears to be working at the moment. On my old computer i used ms money to keep a check on my home accounts, found it easy to use [which is what i need] but now ms money is no longer available.
I've used microsoft money for years but now i'm thinking of switching to a mac i figure it's time for a new accounting package. I noticed that my install of microsoft money was no longer updating the fund prices so i investigated a bit more and found that the msn money site is also not updating fund.
